Frieda Witt

WITT, Frieda – passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Friday, March 15, 2019 in her 91st year.

Frieda Witt (nee Oelke) of Petawawa, beloved wife of the late Arthur Witt. Loving mother of Bob Witt (Debbie), Arnprior; Judy Moore (Don), Norway Bay, QC; and Brenda Witt, Ottawa.  Grandma to Chris & Alison and Melinda.  Great-grandma of 7. Daughter of the late William and Dorothea Oelke (nee Mau).  Predeceased by siblings Arthur, Margaret, Esther Prescott and Karl. Survived by sister-in-law Lois Burger and many nieces & nephews. 

Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Sunday, March 24, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and on Monday, March 25, 2019 from 10 a.m.-12noon.  A Funeral Service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Pembroke on Monday at 2:00 p.m.  Spring Interment in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. John’s Lutheran Church, Pembroke or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
