Florence Mildred Holtz

HOLTZ, Florence Mildred - passed away peacefully at Arbour Heights in Kingston on Tuesday, May 10, 2017 in her 87th year. Florence Holtz (nee Pilatzke), formerly of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Lester Holtz and by first marriage the late Edward Soike.  Dear mother of Mark Soike (Heather), Kingston and step-mother to Blake Holtz, formerly of Pembroke.  Sister of Beatrice Grahl (late Edgar), Pembroke; Gerda Marquardt (late Leslie), Eganville; and Linda Gauthier (late George), Deep River.  Predeceased by brothers Allan (late Garda), Norman (late Marjorie) and Edgar (late Ethel).  Daughter of the late Thomas and Louise Pilatzke (nee Gutzeit).  Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Monday, May 15, 2017 after 12 noon.  A Funeral Service will be held in Zion Lutheran Church, Pembroke, on Monday at 2:00 p.m.  Interment in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.  (As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Zion Lutheran Church would be appreciated.)  Online condolences and donations are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
