SCHRIE, Flora – peacefully at Bonnechere Manor in Renfrew, on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the age of 88 years.

Flora Elizabeth Schrie (nee McGonegal) of Pembroke, wife of the late Verner (Bun) Schrie. Beloved mother of Des Schrie, Pembroke & David Schrie (Kristen), Sarnia. Cherished grandmother of Kyla, Matthew & Chelsea Schrie. Predeceased by parents Hillard & Lottie (Saunders) McGonegal (nee Evers) and by sister Dorothy Hotham (late Tom) and brother Brian Saunders.

Respecting Flora’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Interment of ashes to follow in Zion/St. Timothy’s Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke. In lieu of flowers, donations to Bonnechere Manor Renfrew are appreciated.
