Fern Marjorie Gaudet

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at the age of 83 years.

Fern Gaudet (nee McKay) of Pembroke, devoted and beloved wife of 61 years to Edward Gaudet.  Loving mother of Sue Doucette (Dalton Stone), Micksburg; Bruce (Charlene), Metcalfe; Jay (Lisa), Carp; and Blair (Serena), Pembroke.  Granny of Keith; Colin (Jess), Allister (Kate), Evan & Jacob; Sarah & Matthew; and Brittany (Dan) & Brandon.  Only daughter of the late Harold and the late Cora McKay (nee MacDonald).  Fern will be fondly remembered by the extended Gaudet family.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the wonderful staff at Miramichi Lodge for their dedicated and compassionate care for Fern and her family.

Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life will be held at Calvin United Church on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., followed by luncheon in the lower hall. Formal arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to Calvin United Church, Miramichi Lodge or The Dementia Society of Ottawa & Renfrew County would be appreciated.
