Eric John Morris

MORRIS, Eric John – Peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at the age of 95 years.

Eric Morris of Petawawa, dearly loved husband of the late Arlene Morris (nee Acres). Dear father of the late Jeffrey Morris (Colleen), Ottawa; Stephen Morris (Tyra Johnson), Kingston & Jennifer (Andrew Skinner), Ottawa. Cherished grandfather of Erika Firlotte, Andrew & Natalie Skinner, Patrick Beliveau (Amy), Adam (Naomi) Klassen-Beliveau, Matthew Beliveau (Cassandra Larocque) and Hunter & Noah Morris. Great-grandfather of Aubree & Maeleigh Beliveau and Evalyn & Elizabeth Beliveau-Klassen. Survived by brother Gary Morris (Colleen). Predeceased by parents Albert & Matilda Morris (nee Fabian), sister Selena Morris and Patricia McCoy (late George). Missed by many nieces and nephews.

Eric, affectionately known as "Paw", was an independant soul, dedicated to his convictions and loyal to a fault. He drove Fords, was a huge Toronto Maple Leafs fan and Pembroke Lumber Kings season ticket holder for over 30 years. He loved visiting with family but was always more comfortable in his home where he could religiously stick to his routines. "Paw" will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Eric was Rceme and retired Warrant Officer. He continued to work at CFB Petawawa for many more years. He was a public servant for 42 years. He will be dearly missed by his friend Pete Petersma and all his coffee friends at the west end Tim's. Eric also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He and Arlene and family enjoyed many wonderful years camping at Pine Cone Park Round Lake.
