Elsa Emgard Court (Hampel)

COURT (Hampel), Elsa Emgard – passed away at Case Manor, Bobcaygeon, on Saturday, June 9, 2018 in her 100th year.

Elsa Court (nee Reckzin), formerly of Pembroke, wife of the late Frederick Court, and by first marriage the late Albert Hampel.  Mother of Linda Draycott of Fenelon Falls, and grandmother of Dean Thurston (Tina) and Kristina Thurston.  Great-grandmother of Aspen, Lily and Ethan.  Daughter of the late Gustave and Augusta Reckzin (nee Kunkel).  Predeceased by sisters Mabel Hubert (late Ed), Esther Scheuneman (late Bill), Edna Rutz (late Alex), Flora Kuehl (late Harold), Hilda Discher (late Harold) and Vera Grahl (late Albert); and brothers Elmer (late Violet) and Bill (Anne) Reckzin.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 7 to 9:00 p.m.  Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.  Interment in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke.  (As an expression on sympathy, donations to Zion Lutheran Church, Pembroke or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.)  Online condolences and donations are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
