HAWTHORNE, Elmer Clayton Passed away peacefully in hospital, Pembroke on Wednesday , November 30th, 2005 at the age of 88 years. Elmer Hawthorne, resident of the Country Haven Retirement Home, Beachburg and formerly of R. R. # 1, Beachburg, dearly loved husband of Hazel Hawthorne. Dear father of David Hawthorne, Kingston; Sharon Gaudette (husband Norm), Skead, Ontario; Larry Hawthorne (wife Judy), Beachburg; and Kevin Hawthorne (wife Gayle), Beachburg. Dear grandpa to Dawn Larson and Mark Gaudette (wife Julie); Jeffrey and Tracy Hawthorne; and Sheri Proulx and Steven Hawthorne (wife Shelley). Predeceased by granddaughter Carrie -Ann. Papa to Taylor, Candice, Matthew, Tyler and Ryan. Son of the late Robert and Phoebe Hawthorne (nee Brown). Predeceased by brothers Percy Hawthorne and Robert Hawthorne (wife Maizie), Renfrew; and sisters Iona Brown, Tina Coughlin, Sadie McLaughlin, Hazel Labelle, and Thelma (Toots) Price. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, l4l Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.; and Saturday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Service in St. Andrew's United Church, Beachburg on Saturday at 2 p.m. Interment in the Beachburg Union Cemetery.
