Eleanor May McLaughlin- (retired school teacher at Pineview Public School / R.C.D.S.B.) passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Friday, November 21, 2025 at the age of 90 years.

Eleanor McLaughlin (nee Dougherty) of Beachburg, wife of the late Marvin McLaughlin (1994). Dear mother of Terry McLaughlin (Shirley), Garry McLaughlin (Mona), Dawna Graham (late Robert), and Jeffrey McLaughlin (Deborah). Devoted grandma to Miranda, Robbie (Erin) & Randy McLaughlin; Shawn (Christie) McLaughlin & Katie (Aaron) Ouelette; Jeremy & Andrew (Courtney) Graham and Kelsey & Kaden McLaughlin. Loved and missed by grandchildren; Hunter, Terran, Winona, Waylon, Auriah, Avery, Emily, Wesley, Lia, Grayson, Daymian, Logan, Carson, Alexis, Adria, Maverick, Mova and Michelle. Daughter of the late Harold and Marjorie Dougherty (nee Howard). Sister of the late Edith Simpson (late Murray), Evelyn Dougherty, late Faye Anderson, Bethea Little (Ralph), Bob Dougherty, Margaret Behnke (late Terry), late Ronald Dougherty (Lynn) and Lynn Hawthorne. Will be missed by several nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 2:00 –4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at St. Andrew’s United Church, Beachburg. Interment in Beachburg Union Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. Andrew’s United Church Beachburg are appreciated.
