Edith Gorr

GORR, Edith Mae – passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Saturday, November 27, 2021 in her 99th year.

Edith Gorr (nee Lantz) of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Frederick (Fred) Gorr. Dear mother of Cheryl Sack, Arlene (Ian) Husk & Barry Gorr all of Pembroke. Grandmother to Blaine (Robbie) Sack, Connie Quenneville, Karen (Jason) Godin, Megan Husk (Ben) & Alison (Tom) DeVries. Great-grandmother to 7. Daughter of the late John & Clara Lantz (nee Suckow). Predeceased by siblings June Butler, Lorne Lantz, Earl Lantz & Carol Davidson. Survived and missed by brother-in-law Edward Gorr and  by many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the staff of the second floor medical at Pembroke Regional Hospital as well as Dr.Chander & Dr.Banamar for their care and compassion.

Respecting Edith’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment of her ashes at Zion Lutheran Cemetery at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, December 4, 2021. Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
