Earl Basil Ziebarth

Life member and past president of the Pembroke Kiwanis Club – passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Monday, August 5, 2024, with his loving family by his side, at the age of 94 years. Earl Ziebarth of Eganville, dearly loved husband of the late Erna Ziebarth (nee Miller). Devoted father of Blair, Ottawa; Mark (Cindy), Petawawa; Cheryl Clark (Brian), Peterborough; and Paul (Melissa), Eganville. Loving Papa of Aryn & Allegra Ziebarth-Poulin (Tanner); Katie Burke (Adam); Brittney & Candace Clark; Karly Mullen (Conor), Madison and Payton Ziebarth. Great-Papa to Charlotte and Jack. Brother of Eldon Ziebarth (Valeda), Cobden; and dear Uncle to Carl Ziebarth (Marilou) & Joan Peterson (Dr. Scott).  

Earl was a beloved husband, father, and papa. After a fulfilling career as a Senior Banker at BMO for 45 years, he retired to enjoy his passions: spending time with loved ones at Mink Lake and tending to his farm. 

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the Pembroke Regional Hospital staff in the emergency department and 3rd Floor Medical Unit for their care and compassion.  

A private funeral was held on Saturday, August 10th at Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, followed by interment at Zion/St. Timothy's Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke.
