Dr. Robert "Bob" Bromley

BROMLEY, Dr. Robert George, OD (retired optometrist) – passed away at his home with loving family by his side after a brief yet courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 in his 87th year.

Robert “Bob” Bromley of Pembroke, dearly loved husband of 60 years to Mary Bromley (nee Bedford).  Dear father of Steve Bromley (Patti) and Catherine Arends (Paul).  Grandpa to Melissa (Adam) & Scott (Alexandra) Bromley and Curtis (Leah) & Kyle (Jessica) Arends.  Great-grandpa to Violet, Heath and Rowan.  Son of the late Dr. George and Evelyn Bromley (nee Sutherland).

Respecting Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Saturday, June 15, 2019 from 1-3:45 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service in the chapel at 4:00 p.m.  Interment of ashes in Wesley United Cemetery, Pembroke.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.  Online donations/condolences are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
