Douglas Estabrooks

ESTABROOKS, Douglas M. - passed away at Marianhill, Pembroke on Sunday, June 3, 2018 in his 82nd year.

Doug Estabrooks of Pembroke, beloved husband of Isabel Estabrooks (nee Lipke).  Dear father of David (Deborah Beyea), Pembroke; Glen (Jennifer Clouthier), Petawawa; and Brian (Tasha Walsh), White Lake.  Grandfather of Kyle, Tracy, Talia & Cailin; but Doug was also a grandfather figure to many neighbouring children including Carissa & Braeden O'Connor, Kaitland Lemire and Bryson Clouthier.  He is also survived by his many brothers & sisters and their families.  A former employee of the Pembroke Civic Hospital, Doug was very dedicated to his job for 31 years.

Respecting Doug's wishes, cremation has taken place.  Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 2 to 4:00 and 6 to 8:00 p.m.  (As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.)  Online condolences and donations are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
