Douglas John Desjardins – passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at the age of 73 years.

Doug Desjardins of Pembroke, deeply missed by his wife of 51 years Mary Desjardins (nee Stashick). Caring and loving father of Leah Desjardins (JP Savard), Gatineau & Luke Desjardins (Lesley Wilkinson), Renfrew. Proud grandfather of Esmé, Miles, Edward and Alexandra. Dear brother of Nancy Clark of Pembroke. Son of the late Rennie & Helen Desjardins (nee Roney).

Respecting Doug’s wishes, cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Pembroke Regional Hospital are appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
