Douglas Davies

Davies, Douglas – passed away suddenly, yet peacefully, on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at the age of 93 years in the home he built, lived and loved.

Doug Davies of Pembroke, dearly loved husband of the late Elma Davies (nee Mitchell).  Dear father of Ann Merritt (Todd), Bowmanville and the late Linda Munro (John), Calgary.  Grandfather of Mackenzie, Sydney & Hunter Merritt and Mitchell & Morgan Munro.  Son of the late William and Beatrice Davies.  Brother of the late Kenneth Davies (late Sheila).  Uncle of Nigel Davies and the late Neil Davies. 

A celebration to honour his life well lived will be held at First Presbyterian Church, Pembroke on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Spring interment of ashes in Calvin/First Presbyterian Cemetery, Pembroke on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to First Presbyterian Church or the charity of your choice.
