Douglas Brumm

BRUMM, Douglas Emile – passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at the age of 87 years.

Doug Brumm of Pembroke, beloved husband of Lois Brumm (nee Schwan).  Cherished and dearly loved father of Leanne Amyotte (Mike) & the late Michael Brumm (Denise).  Special Poppa to Ashton Bramburger (Cory), Lucas Amyotte (Tara), Christopher Brumm (Chrissy) & Steven Amyotte (Kristen); and great-grandfather of Avery & Michael.  Son of the late Arthur & Elizabeth Brumm (nee Abbott).  Dear brother of Lois Wolfgram (late Len) & Shirley Datars (Robert).  Predeceased by brothers Gordon, Elmer, Clarence, Verner, Edward, Harold, Herbert, Melville & Gerald Brumm; and sisters Margaret Siegel, Frances Petznick, Vera Gust & Edith Brumm.  Uncle Dougie will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.

Respecting Doug’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Petawawa on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.  Final interment in the Parish Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.  (As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. John’s Lutheran Church, Petawawa or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.)  Online condolences and donations are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
