Dorothy Lewis

LEWIS, Dorothy – passed away suddenly at her home on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the age of 86 years.

Dorothy “Dori” Lewis (nee Roggie) of Pembroke, loving mother of Bryan Roggie (Sharon), Kelly, Cheryl & Derek Lewis.  Grandma to Clinton Roggie (Charlotte), Kurtis Roggie (Angie) and Isaac Lewis.  Great-grandma to Kelsey Steege (Tyson); Bryan, Wyatt & Porter Roggie and Hunter & Gage Roggie.  Great-great-grandma to Chanse, Ava & Kade Steege.  Daughter of the late Percy and Ottilie Rogge (nee Lange), and sister of Bev Okum; Eddie (Shelvie), Harvey (Janet) and Darcy (Pauline) Roggie.  Predeceased by sisters Emily Condly (late Earl) & Audrey Turcotte (late Arlen); and brothers Sidney, Wesley (late Alexis) & Jerry Rogge.  Aunt Dori is survived by many nieces & nephews and great-nieces & nephews.

Respecting Dorothy’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  A spring interment of ashes will be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery, Alice.  Arrangements entrusted to the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Diabetes Association, Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.   Online donations/condolences are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
