Dorothy Jean Campbell passed away peacefully at Marianhill, with loving family by her side, on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the age of 95 years

Dorothy Campbell (nee Brooks) of Pembroke, predeceased by her husband of 40 years the late Gerald ‘Jerry’ Campbell (2014) and by previous marriage and father of her 3 daughters Fred Mitro. Dear mother of Gail Winegarden (Charlie) of St. Thomas, Viki Wasmund (Steve) of Pembroke, and Jane Marie Cherwonick (Gary) of Cole Harbour, NS. Loving friend to Jerry’s sons, Greg (Dorothy), the late Dave (Lil), both of Kingston, and Jim of Calgary, AB. Dorothy was a caring Gramma/Nana/GG who enjoyed spending time with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by parents Byron & Ellen Brooks (nee Rickard). Dorothy was the last of her generation, siblings Harry, Merle Brown, Glen, Max, Audrey Marsh, and Pauline Livingstone. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Respecting Dorothy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at Dorchester Union Cemetery at a later date. In memory of Dorothy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Lung Association are appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
