Doreina Theresa Dawson

DAWSON, Doreina Theresa – Passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at the age of 86 years.

Doreina Dawson (nee Lanthier) beloved wife of the late Roy “Tex” Dawson and  late Archie McDonald.  Loving mother of Brian and Wayne McDonald and Kelly Jarvis (Dennis). Cherished Grandma to Brianna Kubinec (Andrew), Paige Feroiu (Vlad) and Laura Thuemen (Bradley) and Evan Dawson.  Loving Great Grandma of Edward Kubinec and Henry and William Thuemen.   Dear stepmother to Jeffrey Dawson (Dixie).  Fond sister of Francis “Junior” (Helen), Larry, Diana and Clyde Lanthier.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Harold and Alexina Lanthier (nee Fournier) and brothers Donald, Harvey and Roy Lanthier.

Respecting Doreina’s wishes, cremation has taken place.   A Graveside Service of the ashes will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke on Saturday, August 6 at 11:00 a.m.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to Miramichi Lodge Foundation would be appreciated.  Online condolences and donations are available at www.mdbfuneralhomes.com
