Donna Saulnier

Donna Marilee Saulnier (nee Janes) of Petawawa, passed away peacefully, with her loving family by her side on Friday, August 21, 2026 at the age of 65 years.

Donna is the beloved wife of Norman Saulnier, they would have celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on Labour Day. Dear mother of Ben Saulnier. Sister of Karl Janes, Petawawa; Greg Janes (Linda), Ottawa; and Gordon Janes (Angie), Pembroke. Predeceased by parents Howard Janes & Dorothy “Dot” Janes (nee Deering); brothers Jerry Janes (Cheryl), Cordell Janes & Keith Janes (Heather) and sister Glenyce Jackson (Frank). Survived and missed by several nieces, nephews and relatives.

The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the nursing staff of Pembroke Regional Hospital 3rd Floor Surgical, Ottawa General Hospital and Marianhill Hospice for their care and compassion.

Memorial visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Friday, August 28, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. with a Memorial Service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to Pembroke Regional Hospital or Marianhill Hospice would be appreciated.
