Darcy George Hoffman

HOFFMAN, Darcy George – passed away peacefully with loving family by his side at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at the age of 79 years.

Darcy Hoffman of Pembroke, best friend and husband of 58 years to Loretta Hoffman (nee Severin).  Loved and missed by sons Dan (Linda), Ron (Judy) and Gary (Tammy).  Proud Papa of Sarah (Tom) & Kyle (Chantal).  Son of the late Sam and Jean Hoffman (nee McFarlane).  Brother of Vi Keuhl (Allan), Freddy (Lorna), twin Dan (Eileen), Bobby (Joyce), Sandra Marquardt (Bob) and Rick. Predeceased by brothers Clarence (Lorraine) and Carson.  Brother-in-law to Carl “Bud” Severin (Betty), Eleanor Selles (Rick), Shirley McLean (George) and Harry Severin (Claire).  Predeceased by sister-in-law Ruth Bryan (Bryce).  He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.

Darcy was a proud truck driver for over 40 years, an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed his side-by-side but above all, he was a beloved family man and friend.

Respecting Darcy’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Service will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church, Beachburg on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.  All are welcome to continue in celebrating Darcy’s life at the Beachburg Orange Hall anywhere from 3:00-7:00 p.m.  Formal arrangements entrusted to the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
