Catherine Saunders

SAUNDERS, Catherine Isabel “Kay” – Passed away peacefully at the Miramichi Lodge on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at the age of 89 years.

Catherine Saunders (nee Fraser) of Petawawa, beloved wife of the late Ernest Gilbert “Sandy” Saunders.  Loving mother of Stuart Saunders.  Cherished grandmother of Scott (Hailey), Kaitlyn-Rose and great grandmother of James and Myles.  Dear sister of Martha MacLean (late Walter) of Nova Scotia.  Predeceased by her parents Donald and Isabel Fraser (nee Munro), son Steven (Suzanne) and brother William “Bud” Fraser.   

Respecting Catherine’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Service will be held at the Petawawa Presbyterian Church on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 10 a.m.  Interment of the ashes to follow at All Saints Anglican Cemetery.   Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to Petawawa Presbyterian Church appreciated.  Online condolences and donations are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com
