Catherine Eagar

EAGAR, Catherine Gayle - passed away at Groves Park Lodge, Renfrew on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the age of 64 years.

Cathy Eagar (nee Belaire), formerly of Petawawa, wife of the late Patrick Eagar.  Dear mother of Sonja Rhodes (Shawn Aubrey), Eganville and Kyla Buffett (Brad), Burton NB.  Step-mother of Sheilagh Hellman (Peter), Orillia and Sean Eagar, McNichol.  Grandmother of Brandon, Rebecca, Shawn, Sheilagh, Kate, Jane, Ashley, Amanda, Ozzy, Alex James & Anna; and great-grandmother of Lucas, Haley, Courtney, Kaison, Macie, Emerald & Alexander.  Daughter of Erna & the late Russell Belaire.  Sister of Jack Belaire (Jacqueline), Winnipeg; Rose Makinen (late Ray), Pembroke; Eileen Russell (Don), Glace Bay NS and the late Gerald Belaire.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Respecting Cathy's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, Petawawa on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.  Spring interment in Christ Lutheran Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.  (As an expression of sympathy, donations to Ronald McDonald House, Muscular Dystrophy, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.)  Online condolences and donations are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
