Carole Anne Rioux

Passed away suddenly, yet peacefully, at North Renfrew Long-Term Care Centre, Deep River, on Friday, September 19, 2025 at the age of 75 years.

Carole Anne Rioux of Mackey, wife of 20 years to David Foote. Survived by son Todd Howard; step-children Robert Foote (Tara) & Deanna Formanek; granddaughter Kayleigh Wade; step-grandchildren Wesley & Emma Lynn Foote, and Jeffrey & Johnathan Formanek; great-grandchildren Royal & Roman Wade; brothers Donald Rioux (Dianne) & Conrad Rioux (Linda); and dog Maya. Predeceased by parents Charles Maurice & Jacqueline Rioux (nee Linteau).

A special thank you to all the staff, especially the nurses, at North Renfrew Long-Term Care Centre for their compassion and care over the years.

Respecting Carole Anne’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal services. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Renfrew County SPCA or Deep River & District Health Foundation “Closer to Home Campaign” would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.

I’ll remember you. Not when I’m downcast, when winter is upon me, grey and cold, but when I’m happy, I’ll let memory unfold. I’ll think of you in sunlight, flowers in the garden and birds in the sky above. 

And you, Carole Anne, I’ll remember, until my dying day, with love.
