RODGERS, Brian Sheldon - passed away after a short yet courageous battle with cancer at the Elisabeth-Bruyere Hospital, Ottawa on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at the age of 62 years. Brian Rodgers of Ottawa, youngest son of the late James and Stella Rodgers. Special companion of over 20 years to Joan Fyke. Brian will be sadly missed by his children Dawn & David and his 4 grandchildren. Dear brother of George (Marilyn), Roy (Yvonne), Norma Schroeder (Russel), Marilyn Rodgers and Tresa Granzie (Harvey) and sister in-law Bev Rodgers. Predeceased by brothers Ceceil and David and by infant sister Jewel. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Brian will also be sadly missed by his co-workers whom he called friends from Kott Lumber, Nepean where he worked for 17 years. A Memorial Service will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment of ashes in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke.
