Lewis, Brenda Joyce – unexpectedly, with her loving husband by her side, on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 in her 75^th year.

Brenda Lewis (nee Hammel) of Alice, caring wife of 56 years of Delbert Lewis. Loving mother of Kevin Lewis, Patricia Byers (Paul) and Joyce Brant (Christopher). Beloved grandmother of Lorne & Aaron Lewis; Larissa Dora (Vick) & Brittany Vig (Ryan); and Destiny & Trinity Brant. Daughter of the late Ernhardt “Pete” and Jeanette Hammel (nee Biesenthal). Sister of Herbert Hammel (Lorna) and Nancy Dunn (William “Billy”). Brenda will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and campsite friends.

Visitation will be held at Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home on Monday, October 10, 2022 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Alice on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church or the Dorcas Society would be appreciated.
