Bill (Ernest William) Gebhart

Passed away peacefully and unexpectedly at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 82 years of age. Bill was predeceased by his beloved wife of 42 years, Ann Gebhart (née Sheppard), and was a wonderful father to Carol-Ann Kovach (James) and Charlotte Gebhart. Much loved brother of his sisters Anne (John Ludgate), Joan (Bob Peachey) and his taller baby brother, Glen (Jacqueline Chartrand) and predeceased by his brother Donny (the late Elaine) and his sister Marian (Bob Waldack). Bill’s in-laws, nieces, nephews and their families, especially those who knew him as Uncle Ernie, will also fondly remember him. Bill’s family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at Pembroke Regional Hospital for their care and compassion during Bill’s brief stay. They would also like to thank the staff at Pembroke Heritage Manor for their kindness and attentiveness while Bill lived there. Respecting Bill's wishes, cremation has taken place and private family arrangements will be made at a later date.
