Barbara Mildred Woods

WOODS, Barbara Mildred – Passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 9, 2023 at the age of 70 years.

Barbara Woods (nee Black) of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Gordon Woods.  Loving mother of Shannon Crosby (Mathiew), Lindsay Woods (Mike) and Kaitlynd Woods.  Cherished grandmother of Kaleb, Declan and Brigid Crosby.  Dear sister of Brenda Tripp (late Jim).  Lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephew Kathleen Tripp (Kevin), Amanda Tripp and Bill Tripp.  Predeceased by parents Brian and Ellen Black (nee Cook) and sister Wilma Black.  Barbara was a devoted mother, grandmother and wife.  She was a life-long dedicated nurse.  She will be missed by the many lives she touched.

Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Friday, June 16, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.   Funeral Service Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Wesley United Church at 11:00 a.m.  Interment Lower Stafford United Church Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation appreciated.  Online condolences and donations available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com
