SLANEY, Augustine Joseph (Gus) Passed away peacefully at his residence, on Monday, September 24, 2007, in his 67th year. Gus Slaney of Petawawa, dear father of Andrew (Janet) Slaney, Ottawa; Patty (Mike) Godin, Rome, Italy; Cathy (Sean) Herbert, Chalk River; and Chrissy Slaney, Petawawa. Grandfather of Michael, Marcel, Justin, Karyssa, and Janson. Son of the late Austin and Lydia Slaney. Survived by 8 brothers and sisters as well as many nieces and nephews. Gus will be missed by his close friends and neighbours. Visitation at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT, & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke, on Thursday from 7 until 9:00 p.m. Funeral Prayers in the Chapel on Friday, September 28, at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. Columba's Cemetery, Pembroke.
