Amy Louise Emerson

EMERSON, Amy Louise – passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 23, 2026 at the age of 50 years.

Amy Emerson (nee Schwantz) of Petawawa, deeply missed and forever loved by her children Jacob & Lexie Emerson. Amy is survived by her mother Edwina Schwantz, brother Brad Kennedy (Tina), Petawawa & Holly Espinola (Colby), California and is predeceased by her father Willard Schwantz (2022). Caring aunt to Jesse (Amber), Jenna (Brandon) Daeschel & Madison Kennedy; Ellie, Benjamin & Ruby Espinola. She is also survived by her aunt Shirley Hampel (late Terry). She leaves behind her two faithful huskies, Nala and Bandit.

A private family viewing was held, followed by cremation. A memorial service will be held in June (date to be announced). Interment in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Petawawa. As an expression of sympathy, donations to MS Canada or Renfrew County SPCA are appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
