Alice Behnke (nee Brum), formerly of Petawawa. Passed away on April 21, 2018 in her 101st year.

Loving wife of the late Alex Behnke.  Dear mother of Dawn Taylor (Wayne) & Nancy McNeil (David), both of Ottawa; and predeceased by daughter Judith.  Grandmother of Shawn Taylor (Alexandra), and great-grandmother of Lauren & Ethan.  Daughter of the late Henry and Margaret Brum (nee Schultz); and predeceased by brothers Lawrence, Norman, Garnet (late Thelma) & Stanley (late Pearl).  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Special thanks to the staff at the Garry J. Armstrong Home for the care and compassion.

Arrangements entrusted to the care of the Malcom, Deavitt and Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.  Visitation will take place at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 605 Black Bay Rd, Petawawa on Thursday, April 26 from Noon to 1:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers donations to the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County, Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.  Online donations and condolences may be made at www.mdbfuneralhome.com
