Alex Stuart Hatfield

HATFIELD, Alex Stuart – Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at the age of 87 years.

Beloved husband of the late Freda Hatfield (nee Carnegie).  Loving father of Marion Cliche (Randy) and Penny Therrien (Ron).  Cherished grandfather of Nicole Fortin (Jeff), Jessica Mohan (Steve) and Derrick Therrien and great-grandfather of Logan and Madison Fortin and Maverick and Maeva Mohan.  They always put a smile on his face. Predeceased by sisters Minnie Clarke, Geraldine McCulley and brother Clarence Hatfield.  Family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff of Marianhill 1B-West.

Stu was a proud Veteran and lifelong member of the Pembroke Royal Canadian Legion.  He served with the Canadian Guards, The Royal Canadian Army Service Corps and 2 Service Battalion with peacekeeping tours in Germany, Cyprus and Egypt.
